Kate loves school. She would rather be in school than be off for the summer. She tells me daily that she can't wait for school to start. Mrs. Read was her teacher this year for second grade.

The second grade went Taylor Farm where we took a hayride and played in a pumpkin patch.

One of the highlights of the year for mom and dad (Kate didn't know him!) was meeting Bill Clinton in New Orleans over spring break. Flat Stanley gets you in places!
Kate's favorite subjects this year were science and art. She participated in a math group and her favorite book was Charlotte's Web. Kate is an excellent student who loves school and I can't wait to see all the great places she'll go!
