This Halloween was a little different for us. First of all, we didn't have our traditional Halloween dinner of chili with Fritos before trick-or-treating. This was because the power was off and on (mostly off) all day while Robert worked on the dishwasher. Second, Brennan didn't trick-or-treat with us. Brennan went out with her friend from school. This was the first year that we haven't all gone out together. She was a little hesistant at first, but I think she had a good time. Garrison, Kate-Kelly, and I went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. G & K were satisfied with their candy haul, and after they paid the parent tax they still had plenty of candy left.
