Happy Birthday Kate!

I can't believe my baby is now five years old! We celebrated Kate's birthday with two parties. The first was just family, and after a looong day of swimming. You can see how tired she is in this video. Pardon my singing - there were four other people in the room and I'm the only one you can hear.

I let her frost her own cake and I think she did a pretty good job!

This girl loves to play kitchen, so we got her a big kitchen for her present.

Her second party was with her friends from tennis, gymanstics, and ballet. We had it in the back yard and got out the slip n slide. She had a ball with her friends.

Instead of another birthday cake, we made tie-dyed cupcakes for her little friends and they turned out so cute! I just used white cake mix and food coloring - so simple!
